MASSAGE ENVY
When Massage Envy developed its strategy for the new Acne Facial Series Powered by Proactive, it looked to the team at KemperLesnik to create an original branded content series to connect with moms and teens. Leveraging the popularity of women’s soccer, KemperLesnik utilized World Cup champion, Abby Dahlkemper, in a video series that documented her own struggles with acne and her positive experience with the Acne Facial Series. The branded content series delivered increased engagement with the target audience across Massage Envy social channels and was recognized with two national Telly Awards.
Laver Cup
In 2018, professional tennis returned to Chicago for the first time in nearly 30 years with the Laver Cup. The international competition featured top players from around the world and kicked off with a local welcome event in Chicago’s Millennium Park. KemperLesnik leveraged this local media moment and transformed it into an international viewing experience. The KemperLesnik team provided turnkey production and creative services for a live multi-camera broadcast as well as complete event orchestration including all labor and venue negotiation, set design, technical equipment, scripting and talent coordination. The live broadcast was recognized with a national Telly Award.
KitchenAid
To generate awareness for Whirlpool’s social responsibility initiative and commitment to its community, KemperLesnik creatively developed and produced a national commercial campaign. Leveraging the KitchenAid brand’s sponsorship of the Sr. PGA Championship, KemperLesnik created a story-driven campaign highlighting the company’s commitment to the revitalization of its hometown of Benton Harbor, Michigan. The content featured individual business leaders, entrepreneurs and artists to paint the picture of a vibrant and prosperous community.
Maui Invitational Bracket Release
The KemperLesnik content team plays a key role in the strategy and development surrounding the annual bracket release for Maui Invitational. In 2019, the Tournament partnered with Titus and Tate from the One Shining Podcast hosted by The Ringer to breakdown the 2019 matchups. To supplement their content, the team created a hype video that contributed to social media growth across all Maui Invitational platforms. The Bracket Announcement earned nearly 200 media hits, 29.6 million impressions.
Jr. NBA
KemperLesnik partnered with the Jr. NBA to help launch its first Youth Basketball Leadership Conference in 2017 and has continued to help it grow and evolve the platform. With the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, KemperLesnik worked with the Jr. NBA to transition the conference to a virtual event in the spring of 2020. Following the 2020 event, KemperLesnik launched an original 12-part podcast series to further provide the Jr. NBA audience with ongoing curriculum and exclusive content. The series was a first of its kind for the NBA family and featured top coaches from the NBA, WNBA, college and high school levels and was hosted by ESPN basketball analyst Jay Bilas.
